Spicy Burger + Cous Cous

Well, this should take 15 minutes.
Easily time to feed me, watch one half of The Big Bang Theory and make a couple of pints of orange juice.
Cold liquid imbibed with a meal is good for the digestion.

400g minced beef
1 tsp garam masala
1 beef oxo cube
1 tsp garlic powder
1 onion, chopped and fried

Cous cous
As much as you want
small nob of butter
1 tsp pilau rice seasoning
small pinch of Polish all purpose seasoning

4 shredded iceberg lettuce leaves
1 carrot finely sliced
half a cucumber diced
2 large tomatoes (stem pith removed) finely sliced
12 grapes halved
6 raddishes halved
handful of pine nuts

Neutral mayonaise or cranberry dressing
(Never, ever use salad cream or tomato sauce)

Make half a dozen mincemeat balls & put them in a George Foreman lean mean watchamacallit.
Squash flat into burgers by pressing the lid down hard.
Cover cous cous with boiling water in pyrex bowl.
Leave 5 minutes until soft or stir in a non stick pan.

The onions meant I had to sleep on the box at the bottom of the stairs.
I hate the smell of onions.

The carpet is genuine Egyptian, cost £480 reduced from £800 in a closing down sale 10 years ago and is still in perfectly good working order.
I have managed to tease a few threads out by sneakily scratching it when I couldn’t be arsed to use the scratching pole.
